David tells OK Magazine that one of his collaborators will be Raine Maida from Our Lady Peace. After he performed their song “Innocent” on American Idol, Maida “reached out to him” and they’ve been corresponding via email. Says David, “I’m really excited I get to work with Raine Maida from Our Lady Peace because I’m a huge fan of that band. To be able to work with Raine is huge for me.

And if y’all are wondering about the fate of David’s pre-Idol album, Analog Heart, some of those tunes might be making their way onto the album. David has submitted some of the songs to be used on the record, “We’re going to see where the vibe goes with the new stuff and see if they fit.” Will the album be re-released? “I don’t think there are any talks right now. That record was great; I had a lot of fun making it, but I’d rather not dwell in the past.” David adds, “I think if the songs fit in with what I’m doing currently, great, but if not, that was just a moment in my life.

Analog Heart was available as a download on Amazon and a few other outlets before it was yanked offline in the middle of the competition.

There was no way to see what songs were on it. It is $18.95 or so. I don't want to get an album without knowing what is on it, altho I am sure everything is good! But it was hard to tell if that is what they are charging for an album or just the single. Do any of you out there know any more about it? Except that we all want it!!!!!!
